Description

Day 1: Delhi to Haridwar (200 Km by car/ 5-6 hrs)
Start your trip with a visit to Haridwar and attend the famous evening Aarti of Maa Ganga
at Har ki Pauri. Spend the night at Haridwar.
Begin your beautiful trip with heading towards Haridwar from Delhi Airport. Rest for a
while in the lodge and start sightseeing in Haridwar where you can visit Har Ki Pouri,
Manda Devi Temple, Maya Devi and Chandi Devi. Seek the blessing of these Devi’s and feel
the high peak of spiritualism. Stay overnight at the lodge or hotel in Haridwar


Day 2: Haridwar to Barkot (180km by car/ 6-7 hrs)
In the morning, leave for Barkot. On the way, stop at Mussoorie and visit Kempty Falls.
Have your dinner and spend the night at Barkot.
On the 2 nd day of trip, start your trip towards Barkot, and on the way, you can rest for a
while at Mussoorie and enjoy the Kempty Falls. You can also visit gun factory and Mall
Road which is local market for shopping. Stay in the hotel, have dinner and stay overnight
at the hotel.


Day 3: Barkot to Yamunotri (46 km by Car/2.5 hrs| 6 Km. by foot/2 hrs)
Start your 3 rd day with morning breakfast at hotel and then transfer to the Yamunotri,
which is the first Dham of the Chardham. On the arrival of Yamunotri, you will have the
blessings of Goddess Yamuna in Yamunotri Temple. The prestigious river starts off from
Champasar Glacaier. This Dham Yamunotri was also the native place of old Saint Asit Muni.
The ritual of worship and activities are here is as follows, where one can cook rice and put
the cooked rice in a cloth and drop it in the warm water of Tapkund. These cooked rice is
the Prasad for pilgrims. Pilgrims take bathe in the warm water of Jamunabai Kund and
after that they can have a Darshan of holy River Yamuna.There is Divya Shila which is pillar
made up of rock , and this pillar is worshipped by the pilgrims prior to enter the Yamunotri
Temple.
Return back to the lodge, inn or accommodation of Barkot and stay overnight here.


Day 4: Barkot to Uttarkashi (80 km by car/3-4 hours)
On the 4 th day, have breakfast and ready for the travelling to the Uttarkashi, which is
beautiful town in the Uttrakhand positioned at the altitude of 1,588 meters and it is
between the river of Ashi and Varuna. At this place, you can visit the most popular Lord

Shiva Temple Vishwnath. By visit there, it is time to have the blessings of Lord Shiva. After
Darshan, you can get back to your accommodation and rest overnight at the Uttarkashi

 

Day 5: Uttarkashi to Gangotri (95 Km. by Car/4-5 hrs)
Now travel to the Gangotri in the morning, which is the second Dham. Land on the
Gangnani which is a warm water spring, pilgrims takes divine bath here at Rishikund.
There is a famous temple of Saint Parashar near the Kund, you can visit there. It is believed
that Rishi Parashar is the father of Maharishi Ved Vyas (The creator of epic Mahabharat).
Then after reach to the Gangotri temple which is in the altitude of 20 feet which is
dedicated to Goddess Ganga. The formation of this temple is believed to be in the 18 th
century. There is a famous folk tale about this place that Pandavas had organized the Deva
Yagna here. This place is situated close to a pure stone and it is believed that the King
Bhagirath had worshipped Lord Shiva just after the river Ganga slide down the earth.
Worship at the temple and attend the Arti at Gangotri. Return back to Uttarkashi and stay
overnight here.


Day 6: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi (240 km by car/8-9 hrs)
In the morning, have some refreshment and travel towards to the Guptkashi. Take your
dinner on time and spend overnight her.

Day 7: Guptkashi to Kedarnath (35 km by car/1-2 hrs| 21 km by Foot/7-8 hrs)
Have your breakfast proceed to Kedarnath, the third Dham.
In the morning, after taking the breakfast, it’s time to travel to the third Dham Kedarnath.
When you reach the Kedarnath, visit the temple which was established in 8 th century A.D.
through Adi Guru Shankaracharya. This temple located near to the old temple constructed
by Pandavas. This historic and epic temple has an Idol of Nandi, A Garbha Grah for offering
prayer. This old temple has pointed Shiva Linga here.
Here the Samadhi of Adi Guru Shankaracharya positioned back side of temple. It is
believed that it was Adi Guru Shankaracharya who endeavor a lot to built four divine Dham
in India, he had taken the Samadhi at the early age of 32 years.

You can also visit to the Bhaironath temple located just half kilometer distance from
Kedarnath Temple. After Darshan of temples in Kedarnath Sightseeing, stay overnight at
Kedarnath.

 

Day 8: Kedarnath to Guptkashi (21 km by Foot/7-8 hours, 35 km by car/1-2 hrs)
Next morning return back to the Guptkashi and explore the local sightseeing of Guptkashi
and spend whole night here.


Day 9: Guptkashi to Badrinath (200 Km. by Car/7-8 hrs)
After breakfast, leave for Badrinath, the fourth dham. En-route visit Joshimath.
Next morning is to visit the forth Dham which is Badrinath sistuated in between the Nar
and Narayan Mountain. There is a old story behind this place, when the holy river Ganga
was urged to slide down to the earth for the welfare of human and treat the suffering of
humans, in the sliding down process, the earth was not capable to bear the pressure of
River Ganga and that is why River Ganga was divided into 12 divine channels. Alaknanda
was among the 12 channels of Ganga and it afterward became the habitation of Lord
Vishnu or Badrinath.
Worship at the temple and visit the famous and attractive places such as Brahama Kapal,
Narad Kund, and Bhim Pul. Offer Arti in the evening. After having dinner, overnight stay at
Badrinath.


Day 10: Badrinath to Rudrapryag (160 Km. by Car/6-7 hrs)
In the next morning, after breakfast, get ready to the trip of Rudraprayag and then heading
towards the last village of India Mana Village. You can have the visit of Joshimath and Vyas
Gufa. Also en route at the Vishnu Prayag in which see the following two rivers Alaknanda
and Dhauli. Stay overnight at Rudraprayag.


Day 11: Rudrapryag to Haridwar (165 km by car/6-7 hrs)
Get ready in the early morning and travel back to the Haridwar and you can also stop at the
Rishikesh and explore sightseeing such as Laxman Jhoola, Ram Jhoola, Prabhat Niketan and
Triveni Ghat. Spend your night at Haridwar.


Day 12: Haridwar to Delhi (200 Km. by car/5-6 hrs)
This is the last day of this sacred and religious trip and time has come to restore the great
memories of this trip . pack your bags and return back to Delhi towards your destination.
